​Villa Hilda Mansion

          It was built in 1926 by Alberto Thielen, an industrialist, merchant, and prominent figure in the history of Ponta Grossa. The mansion is named in honor of his wife, Hilda Thielen. The two-story mansion once housed the family and the household staff. The interior of the mansion features paintings depicting European landscapes and motifs, as well as some local landscapes.

          For many years, it served as the headquarters of the Ponta Grossa Public Library; since 1996, it has functioned as the Cultural Foundation, and from 2009 to 2015, it served as the headquarters of the Tourism Foundation. The 600-square-meter mansion, influenced by French neoclassical and Art Nouveau architecture, was designated a Cultural Heritage Site of Paraná in 1990.
