Church of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception

Ana Guimarães donated the land and the statue of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception so that a church could be built for the residents of the Uvaranas neighborhood, which was inhabited mainly by Italians. Also known as the “Little Church of Uvaranas,” it was designated by COMPAC as a Cultural Heritage Site of Ponta Grossa in 2004. The Gothic-style church, featuring Gothic and Romantic windows, has three handcrafted altars.
