​Cerradinho Cemetery

Located in a natural setting, the Cerradinho Cemetery is a site of historical significance. The cemetery features stone walls with carved columns and an original entrance arch. Other notable features include the early 20th-century tombs and the small mortuary chapel with its bell tower. Some of the tombs and the chapel were built on sandstone.

 

Location: Access to the site is via the Talco Highway. At Km 18.6, starting from the UEPG Uvaranas campus, just past the village of Passo do Pupo, turn right onto an unpaved road. After 7.6 km, turn right off the road onto a small access road; the cemetery is located at the top of a small hill.
